Ten Lakes District Secondary School riders recently went to Coquitlam for the Mountain Biking Provincials: Avril Thom-Lucy (Grade 8), Cameron Stewart (Grade 8), Ava Nealis (Grade 9), Cole Bender (Grade 9), Cormac Turner (Grade 9), Avery Wilson (Grade 10), Zach Paulson (Grade 10), Skyler Tizya-Baker (Grade 10), Gianna Ragsdale (Grade 11) and Eli Gurtins (Grade 12).
They raced in two events – a cross-country race and an enduro race in torrential rain conditions.
Despite highly technical courses, all riders completed both races and finished in the middle of the pack .
They also rode in William’s Lake, Squamish, and Whistler on their way down for fun.
