The Nakusp Figure Skating Club sent 6 skaters to the Kootenay Regional Competition held in Fruitvale, B.C., from January 31- February 2.
Top placements and participating skaters were as follows:
— Chiara Minchin and Olivia Mang: both received a silver evaluation in Star 1
— Melissa Hascarl: bronze evaluation in Star 2
— Kennedy Pazurik: participated in Star 2
— Maya Watson: participated in Pre-Introductory Interpretive
— Kiley Waterfield: participated in Introductory Interpretive
Next up for the skaters is a trip to Revelstoke from Feb. 21–22 for a low to high test day.
