Vernon’s Nayo Raincock-Ekunwe played 15 minutes, finishing with two points and three rebounds Monday.

“Our players have bought in to team basketball. It’s not about who scores, it’s about if we score. That’s a key to our success,” said Canadian head coach Lisa Thomaidis.

Canada brushed back Puerto Rico 94-57 in their opener Sunday night. Raincock-Ekunwe chipped in six points and three rebounds in 17 minutes.

Canada took on the Dominican Republic Tuesday night.

Canada battles the defending champion Cuba team tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m.
