The lake was calm and the sailing relaxed as eight teams took part in the Nelson Regatta last weekend.
Forty-five sailors competed in seven races on Kootenay Lake, with skipper Craig Berg’s team Fast Forward finishing first.
The regatta’s organizers wish to thank sponsors Oso Negro Coffee, Backroads Brewery, Safeway Canada, Save-on Foods, Prestige Marina, Vault Sports Lounge and Nelson Brewing Company.
