Sun Peaks Resort promises a massive fireworks display to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Tod Mountain at Sun Peaks on New Year’s Eve.

December 31 will be packed with outdoor activities for all ages, plus live music rocking the outdoor stage twice during the evening, followed by a third performance at Masa’s Bar + Grill after the fireworks.

In addition to the Kid’s Glowstick Parade and adult Torchlight Parade down Sundance Mountain, the 5th Annual First Flight Big Air Invitational will showcase amazing athletes demonstrating their skills on one of the big jumps, accompanied by a live DJ.

The official celebrations wrap up with Sun Peaks’ biggest and best fireworks display ever.

“Rather than being hand-lit, the fireworks this year will be electronically fired, which means more of them and a faster display,” says Anne Haight, Director of Sales & Marketing at Sun Peaks Resort Corporation. “There will also be a special surprise to commemorate the 50th Anniversary as well.”
