Norms Auto claimed their third straight playoff title in the Terrace Adult Rec Hockey League with a 6-3 win over Sorochan in finals.

The game was a close 4-3 right up until the final five minutes, when Norms broke it open with two quick goals.

Norms stormed out to a 3-0 lead in the early part of the first period but Sorochan clawed two back before the break. Sorochan came out firing in the second, and scored the equalizer early in the second.

Great goaltending by Darren Beaulieu kept Sorochan at bay, as they were all over a reeling Norms Auto team.

Norms later recovered to score off a scramble and climb 4-3.

Stellar goaltending at both ends kept the game close until Norms added two late goals to lock up their third straight possession of the Mike Haworth Memorial Trophy.

This wraps up another solid playoff season for the Terrace Adult Hockey League.

There was only one blowout in the rec league round robin, and the final series went to three games. The oldtimers final went to sudden death overtime after two close semi-final games.

The league now turns its attention to the Beverage Bowl charity game on Saturday night.

The teams are hoping for a good turnout of fans, with donations of non-perishable food to be donated to the food bank.
