The North Delta Devils will start the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) season in Mission.
The Junior B circuit released its schedule last week, and the Devils will play the Mission City Outlaws on Tuesday Sept. 12, before their first home game two days later at the Sungod Arena against the Delta Ice Hawks.
Each team in the PJHL will play a 44-game schedule, facing off six times against each of conference rivals, and four times against the five teams in the other conference. The top four clubs in each division will advance to the playoffs.
North Delta is in the Tom Shaw Conference with Delta, the Richmond Sockeyes, North Vancouver Wolf Pack and the Grandview Steelers.
“It promises to be another exciting year as, for the first time, all games will be available for viewing online as the PJHL and FASTHockey.com will be webcasting each game,” said the PJHL on its website.
The Devils will play the majority of their games on Saturday nights at 7:15 p.m. in the Sungod Arena. Exceptions are home games on Halloween (Thursday, Oct. 31) at 6:45 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
