Simon Fraser University (SFU) soccer players Ryan Dhillon and Adam Staschuk, both of North Delta, have earned spots on the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Academic team.
Both players are on the team for the first time.
Dhillon has a 3.24 grade point average in business administration, while Staschuk is on the team with a 3.73 average in geography.
Dhillon has six goals and an assist for 13 points for the SFU Clan so far this season. He has played in 13 games, starting in six, and has netted three game winners.
In 14 games this season, Staschuk has three goals for the Clan.
Dhillon was also named the Red Lion Offensive Player of the Week in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.
He led the conference with three goals scored in a pair of 7-0 victories by the Clan. He scored twice against Northwest Nazarene on Thursday, and scored the game’s first goal Saturday against Montana State Billings.
