Who's playing, where and when!

We’re spoiled for choice this weekend – the Demons playing two playoff games against the Steelheads and the River Kings, the Winterhawks Initiation Division Hockey Tournament and a whole lot of fun at the Rail Jam and Winterfest event at Hirsch Creek Golf & Winter Club.

The Demons

The Demons took on the in the playoffs on Friday night and won 6 – 4 after a tightly-contested game. The Demons were down initially and rebound in the last period, clawing their way back to a win, the last goal scored in the last three minutes of the last period!

The Demons now go on to play theTerrace River Kings tonight at 8:00 p.m. in the Tamitik Arena.

Regardless of the outcome of the playoffs, the Demons can give themselves a big pat on the back. At the end of last season, the Demons lost all 16 of their games in the regular season. They also lost both of their playoffs games last season.

A score of 8 points this season coming from 4 wins and 12 losses is a dramatic improvement and bodes well for the 2020/2021 season.

At the end of the regular season the Demons’ Tayden Fowler Mcnab was edged out of the top league scorer position by the Rampages’ Tyler Ostrom by one point. Mcnab ended the season with 25 points off 16 goals and 9 assists, and a PIM (Penalties in Minutes) score of just 8.

In Friday night’s game against the Steelheads, Mcnab scored a massive four goals, putting the Demons in serious contention for a good result in the playoffs.
