Jim Cotter scored four in ninth end to put away Ontario’s Matt Kean 8-3 on Tuesday morning at the Tim Hortons Brier in Calgary.

Cotter, third Ryan Kuhn, second Tyrel Griffith and lead Rick Sawatsky, who were coming off a win over Newfoundland’s Brad Gushue on Monday night, are at 3-and-2 and in a four-way tie for third in the 12-rink field.

On Tuesday afternoon, the B.C. champs will play Quebec’s Jean Michel Menard.
