The B.C. Football Conference rivalry between the Vancouver Island Raiders and Okanagan Sun has been somewhat one-sided since 2010.
While the Raiders have dominated the series on the win ledger for the past three seasons, the Sun changed on all that Saturday at the Apple Bowl by defeating the Vancouver Island squad 17-3.
While the Raiders had some success moving the ball, posting 165 yards on the ground and 113 in the air, the Sun defense stood tall holding their opponents off the scoresheet until giving up a field goal late in the fourth quarter.
