Angelle Carter exercises a quarter-horse — one of many that will soon begin the racing circuit — on the track at the former Kamloops Exhibition Grounds on the Tk’emlups Indian Band reserve. This year’s horse racing circuit will see one less venue as Kamloops no longer is on the circuit, with the track set to be mothballed under TIB redevelopment plans.
