As expected, Oceanside United had little trouble dispatching the last place Shooters 4-nil in Comox last Sunday.
OU keeper Pam Richer recorded yet another shutout in the winner take-all BC Cup Island playdowns, and the local ladies of soccer remain unbeaten at 7-0 with 21 points and top of the 10-team league in the standings.
Aundrea England struck for two goals for Oceanside, and Monica Ciolfi, and Carly Nellist rounded it out.
In other action, Nanaimo United edged the Comox Kickers 2-1 last weekend and remain three points back of Oceanside in second at 6-1.
The Legends are third at 5-3.
The locals are on the road to Nanaimo this Sunday to take on the 2-3-2 Wheaties at high noon.
