Outlaws win in overtime

Mission defeated Ridge Meadows 3-2 in overtime on Saturday night. The locals are still down three games to one in the playoff series.

Bryce Pisiak was the hero for the Mission Outlaws hockey club.

Pisiak scored the overtime winner to give the locals a 3-2 victory over the Ridge Meadows Flames on Saturday night at the Mission Leisure Centre.

The victory is Mission’s first of the playoffs. The locals find themselves down three games to one to the Flames.

Mission will attempt to stave off elimination in the best of seven series on Tuesday night when they play game five against the Flames. The game takes place at the Mission Leisure Centre. The puck drops at 6:30 p.m
