The Semiahmoo Ravens peewee A1 team had plenty to celebrate after Gianni Lattanzio’s game-winning goal – scored just 30 seconds into overtime – gave the Ravens a 3-2 victory over Alberta’s Olds Grizzlies in the championship game of the Regina Peewee Classic tournament last week.
The Ravens went 6-0 throughout the tournament, and had a handful of players honoured at the tournament’s conclusion.
Ravens’ goaltender Seth Parmar, defenceman Cameron Newson and forward Cam MacDonald – who led the tournament in scoring – were all named to the all-star team.
