PACE Multisports launches training series

If you are looking for some training options for the upcoming Shoreline Orthodontics Tri-K Triathlon, PACE Multisport has some great opportunities for training this Saturday and continuing all summer for other events you may consider.

Training and coaching is available for ages 12 and up, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult while riding their bike. This is a great way to train together as a family and receive great coaching tips on triathlon training.

The PACE Multisport Training Series starts this Saturday May 9.  PACE multisport coach Leanne Gray reminds those attending to come at 8 a.m. to get set up, as the training starts at 8:30.

“Come train on the bike and run course for the Shoreline Orthodontics Tri-K. You can choose to train in a duathlon style and run 5km, cycle 20km and run 5km or do a Brick workout by riding the course and running right after. People can just cycle or just run as another option.

The cost is a $15 drop-in. There will be one coach at the run/bike area to watch the bikes and two coaches out on the course for support and encouragement.

To register email pacemultisport@gmail.com about the training for this Saturday or the entire series, which includes a triathlon training clinic at Goose Spit in June, a “Splash & Dash”, swim and bike training session in July as well as a Brick Training Session in August.  Cost for the entire Coached Series is $50.  Register early as space is limited.
