Meet Peninsula Panthers’ goaltender Nick Babich of Brentwood Bay. The 19-year-old wears number 30 for the VIJHL junior B club and has played hockey for 9 years.
What has kept you in the sport?
Continuing to push myself to get to the next level as well as my love for the game.
Who has been the most influential hockey player (NHL or otherwise) in your life?
My dad has been the most influential person in my life, as he alwasy supports me in any decision I make. He also helps motivate me to get better.
What has been your favourite moment as a Panther?
Getting a shutout and an assist in the same game..
What is your best asset as a hockey player and as a person?
My best assets are my size and speed as well as my ability to be a team player.
