On Saturday, at Trinity Western University, Okanagan came up short against Fraser Valley Action losing 3-2. Michelle Smith tallied both goals in the loss, the first at the eight-minute mark and the second on a corner kick in the second half.

On Sunday, Paige Ralston and Haylee Lakovic, with her first of the season, scored in a 2-0 Okanagan win over Coquitlam Metro Ford.

Ralston tallied in the 70th minute when her shot squirted between the legs of the Coquitlan, while Lakovic scored minutes later when laced a shot from 20 yards out that found the top of the net.

Keeper Christine Tallon earned her first shutout of the season.

“It was a gutsy performance this weekend playing two games back to back with 13 players,” said head coach Claire Paterson. “Several athletes were juggled around into new positions and they did very well to step into those spots where needed.”
