The Burns Lake Peewees won the league with 8/0/0 record and they beat Fraser Lake in a best of three games in the playoffs to win the zones which sent them to the provincial championships.
Provincials were held March 15 to 20 in Richmond and they placed fourth out of seven teams.
They beat Victoria, Prince George and the North Shore winter club. They were awarded the FairPlay award for being then most sportsman like team of the championships.
