Penticton’s Haley Hewer finished tied for 33rd in the B.C. Golf Women’s Amateur championship at Beach Grove Golf Club in Tsawwassen on July 8.
In the final round, Hewer shot seven over par, 79 and finished with a score of 329. Coquitlam’s Jisoo Keel won the championship with a total score of 280 and finished the final round eight under par. Thirty-seven players advanced to the final two rounds.
