Penticton Vees tickets remain free for kids and youth thanks to Peter Bros sponsorship

Peters Brothers Construction has sponsored the youth ticket program for the past seven seasons

Youth tickets for Penticton Vees games will continue to be free thanks to the ongoing sponsorship of Peters Brothers Construction.

The Vees announced Thursday, July 8 that Peters Brothers Construction will return as a sponsor for youth tickets for the 2021/22 season.

Peters Brothers have sponsored the youth ticket program for the past seven seasons, paying the admission price for local youth 18 and under.

Vees general manager Fred Harbinson said the sponsorship will be a great way to help the community bounce back from a long 18 months where fans were unable to attend games due to the pandemic.

“This partnership has been such a game-changer for our organization and the entire community of Penticton. Since 2014, we have seen this initiative grow every year, providing hundreds of tickets per game,” said Harbinson.

“This partnership will continue to provide Penticton families affordable entertainment at a premier facility like the SOEC

“The importance of coming out and supporting Penticton’s team will be felt as the community bounces back from the past 18 months.”

The Vees will begin their season on Friday, October 8 against the Vernon Vipers on home ice before making their first road trip of the year heading south of the border to face-off against the Wenatchee Wild.

The season will conclude for Penticton on Saturday, March 19 with a weekend of back-to-back games in Cranbrook against the Bucks.

The 2021/22 season will see fans back in the building to cheer on their favourite team, and there are plenty of ways to get in on the action, including with a season ticket membership.
