Thursday, May 18, was another successful Ladies Golf Night at Lacarya in Blackpool.
The weather was perfect and about 12 of us stayed for dinner following the back nine. As our second Ladies Night on May 11 was cancelled due to rain the following report is for the first Ladies night on May 4.
The winners in Flight #1 were: Tanya Dejarlais – low gross and KP; Deanna Pendergast – low net; Marg Anderson – long drive; Jen Cleveland – long drive in 2; Madeline Klassen – long putt.
For Flight #2: Joan Streadwick – low gross; Korinne Isbister – low net and long drive; Jayna Jung – long drive in 2 and Jane Olson – long putt.
For Flight #3: Rose Harley – low gross, long drive and long drive in 2; Jean Nelson – long putt. Madeline also had the least number of putts and Chris Rusnak was the most honest putter.
Carol, Hazel and Jayna all received new balls to replace the ones they lost in the water. A big congratulations to Karen Caissie for her chip in on #4 and to Joan Slingsby for her Birdie on #7.
