Dante Joseph, 15, is one of three Fort St. James Secondary School students who were selected to be on the B.C. softball team for the North American Indigenous Games this year.

One other athlete from the area going is Brydon Lassard. Joseph will be a pitcher for the team, and has only been on an organized team for one year before.

Athletes from the area went to Prince George for the try outs and those selected for the team will be heading to Manitoba for the games in July.
