Pitt Meadows junior defeat Moscrop

The Pitt Meadows Marauders junior varsity football team beat the Moscrop Panthers 36-8 on Wednesday evening.

The victory improves the Marauders to three wins and two losses in the J.V. Central League. They are in third place in the six-team division.

Terry Fox is the class of the circuit, having gone 3-0, and scoring 138 points while allowing none in league play.

 

The Pitt Meadows senior team lost 23-7 to their Eastern Conference rival Rick Hansen on Friday night.

The Hurricanes are undefeated so far at 4-0.

The Marauders are 2-2, and sitting in fourth place in their eight -eam league.

Jake Schuster is one of the most productive quarterbacks in the league, having thrown for 464 yards and eight touchdowns in three games. The Eight majors is the second highest total in the league.

Running back Brandon Stewart is also a standout, with 314 yards and two touchdowns in two games.

The Samuel Robertson Technical Titans had their Friday night game called off when referees failed to show up, and are 0-3 in league.
