• Kokoro Judo Club has the grand opening of its new dojo on Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
From 10 to 11:30 a.m., Team BC Coach Aline Strasdin will lead a practice for club members who are interested in competing. From 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., there will be an open mat for anyone who wants to try judo, and from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., there will be a general practice for anyone who wants to participate or watch.
The new dojo is located at 776 Alpine Ave. (former Pfanner building).
• 100 Mile Badminton Club members play every Tuesday from 5:45 to 9 p.m. in the 100 Mile House Junior Secondary gym.

• 100 Mile Snowmobile Club has its annual general meeting on Oct. 19 at its clubhouse on Ainsworth Road, starting at 7 p.m.
• 100 Mile Nordics Ski Society cross-country ski club is hosting a ski and equipment swap Oct. 30 from noon to 4 p.m. at its clubhouse on Ainsworth Road of 99 Mile.
Buy or sell equipment, register for lessons or purchase your ski pass.
• Drop-in volleyball happens every Tuesday night from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School gym. Fees are $2.50 per session with a recreation pass or $3.50 without. Players must be at least 14 years old.
• BC Little Britches Finals held recently in Clinton saw Sienna Monical of 100 Mile House place second in junior girls pole bending, goat tail tying, dummy roping and third in barrel racing. Tayler McCullough of Clinton was fifth in senior girls barrel racing, and Bacardi Zimmerlee of Clinton was third in senior girls pole bending and 10th in goat tying.
