The Battersby Plumbers defeated Emo’s Oilers 4-3 in overtime Saturday night to win the Cheers Cup as Revelstoke Men’s Hockey League champions.    “We’re the Plumbers. We just work hard. The Plumbers defeated Barton Storm in the quarter-finals and then toppled the regular season champion Regent Royals 6-1 in the semi-finals. Emo’s had a bye to the semi-finals, where they downed the Big Eddy Idiots 12-3. The final was a tight-checking affair with the teams trading goals until the Plumbers got a power play goal in overtime for the win.
