Learning to ride a bucking bonco or participate in other rodeo events takes skill and courage which often begins at a young age with kids learning to ride bucking barrels.
Wyatt Curiston, 6, gets a lesson from Tyrone Hunlin on how to ride a bucking barrel, during the Williams Lake Indoor Rodeo's Cowboy Carnival for children, Friday morning, April 18. Riding for real starts tonight with the 6 p.m. performance at the Cariboo Memorial Complex and continues Saturday and Sunday with 1 p.m. performances.
