The field at Clearwater Secondary School might have been only 25 per cent clear of snow but that didn’t stop the rugby team. Here Timo Menard catches the ball during a practice held April 1.

The team’s first game of the season will be this coming Friday in Kamloops against St. Ann’s. In addition to their league schedule they will play in a rugby fest tournament in Kamloops over the Easter long weekend.

The rugby Raiders’ only regular season home game will be on Friday, April 25, when they host Westsyde.

CSS also has nine Grade 8s who will travel to Kamloops for a series of development sessions and games. Team practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
