Prince Rupert Tribesmen advance to semi-finals in 2018 Junior All Native Basketball Tournament

Prince Rupert will be set to face Haida in the semi-finals matchup on Thursday

The Prince Rupert Tribesmen defeated the Nuxalk Nunanta Wednesday in a quarter-final matchup at the 2018 Junior All Native Basketball Tournament.

Prince Rupert is competing in the Under 17 Boys ‘A’ Draw and will be set to face Haida in the semi-finals Thursday at 10:15 a.m. at Capilano University in North Vancouver.

Lax Kw’alaams Hoyas faced the Okanagan’s Syilx today as well, and lost 80-39.

The tournament includes 83 teams from B.C. First Nation communities across four divisions, U17 Boys, U17 Girls, U13 Boys and U13 Girls.
