The 9th Annual Pro-Am Scholarship Hockey Game takes place at the Shaw Centre, Wednesday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m.
This annual Salmon Arm Hockey School event features a great lineup of stars from the NHL, the AHL, the WHL and the BCHL, and is free to attend. The annual scholarship will be presented to a graduating minor hockey player later this month.
The hockey school will also be hosting three major adult tournaments this summer as well. The 35, 40, 50 and over tournament is set to go on the Aug. 11 weekend, while the 60 and over players hit the ice Aug. 15 and 16. The 19 and over men’s recreation and co-ed tournaments are scheduled for the Aug. 24 weekend.
