Cyclists for the fourth annual Future Champions Camp arrived in Penticton on Wednesday

PROS IN THE MAKING — Cyclists for the fourth annual Future Champions Camp arrived in Penticton on Wednesday. This camp brings together 25 of the brightest road and track prospects ages 14 to 22.  During the five-day camp, cyclists go on coached training rides, listen to lectures on everything related to making the step from provincial racing to the national scene and beyond. This year the cyclists have been invited by Axel Merckx to participate in the Valley First Granfondo Axel Merckx Okanagan. On Labour Day weekend, the second annual Hayman Classic Kids event will take place (Aug. 30 to Sept.1). For information, check www.haymansport.com.
