Puck has dropped on KIJHL playoffs

Summerland Steam open up KIJHL playoffs in Kelowna, Osoyoos travels to Princeton

Puck drop  has already happened in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League.

The Golden Rockets doubled up the Kimberley Dynamiters 4-2 in Kootenay Conference action Thursday night. Game 2 goes today in Golden. The featured match ups in that conference have the Columbia Valley Rockies against the Fernie Ghostriders. That series begins in Fernie on Saturday, while the Castlegar Rebels will host the Spokane Braves beginning today. The other matchup has the Beaver Valley Nitehawks hosting the Nelson Leafs today.

In the Okanagan/Shuswap Conference, the North Okanagan Knights host the Kamloops Blazers today, while the Sicamous Eagles host the Revelstoke Grizzlies. The Summerland Steam begin their quest of a KIJHL championship on the road in Kelowna as they face the Chiefs, while the Osoyoos Coyotes travel to Princeton to take on the Posse.
