Alpine skiers from across the Kootenay Zone were at Red Mountain over the weekend to compete in the Kootenay Zone Race Series.
On Saturday, U12 and U14+ skiers took on slalom courses and on Sunday they took on giant slalom courses.
A number of Red Mountain Racers competed and many made it into the top ten for their event.
For the U12 Ladies, Georgia Gardiner took first in Race 1 on Sunday and placed sixth and seventh respectively in her two races on Saturday.
Hanna Krampl placed tenth in her first race on Sunday and seventh in her second.
In U14+ Ladies, Freesia Gaul placed tenth in her first race on Saturday.
For the U12 Men, Reuben Demmler placed first in his both of his races on Sunday. He also placed third and fifth respectively in his two races on Saturday.
Marek Krampl placed fifth in his first race on Saturday and fourth in his second race.
For U14+ Men, Radek Krampl placed sixth in his first race on Saturday, fifth in his second race, and sixth in his third. He placed ninth in his third race on Sunday.
And Marcus Hamm placed ninth in his first race on Saturday and tenth in the third race.
