Below: Carrie Weninger competes in the keyhole event during last Saturday’s Wells Gray Riders gymkhana at the Upper Clearwater riding arena. Competitors start from the far end of the arena and go through the entry marked by two timbers on the ground. They then must turn around within a circle marked on the ground by a rope, then return through the entry back to where they started from. The event is timed with penalties or even disqualification for not staying within the keyhole.
