Riders to Rock the Red at Fraser Downs

Cloverdale’s own and Pacific Riding School alumni Mark Kruger will be defending his national 2004 title in the 125 cc From class this Saturday at Fraser Downs Racetrack & Casino, hosting Honda’s Rock the Red, showcasing the motorsport Gymkhana.

Gymkhana is a motorsport where riders are timed as they navigate a complex obstacle course set up with tight twists and turns. The course requires them to perform different driving techniques, from 180 degree turns and 360 degree spins, to parking boxes, figure eights and other advanced skills.

Watch or compete for free.

There are also free ATV test rides, free Honda demo rides, and a junior Red Riders competition for kids aged 6 to 12 who can already ride. All that, plus free food and drinks at the Pacific Riding School Clubhouse for alumni.

It gets underway at 10 a.m. May 23 at Fraser Downs, 17755 60 Ave., Surrey.
