Ridge Meadows Moose take first after a win and a tie

The Meadow Ridge Moose and tied in games over the weekend, and moved into first place in the South Coast Female Amateur Hockey League.

The Moose tied the South Fraser TNT 2-2 on Saturday, coming from behind twice to earn a single point. Rachel Dong and Madeline Cockrill were the Moose scorers.

Ridge has now gone 8-2-3 on the season, and are two points up on the second-place TNT, but have played three more games.

On Sunday in Langley the Moose beat the TWU Titans 7-1. Hayley Rodger had a four-point game on a goal and three assists, while Emily Jude and Vanezza Leuszler each had a pair of goals. Dong and Sara Boekringer were the other scorers.
