Taryn Robertson knocked in four runs on three hits as the Whitehouse Mortgage Gators gonged the Devils 16-1 in Vernon Women’s Slo-Pitch League action Wednesday night at Kin Park.
Jenn Thatcher went 4-for-4 with three ribbies, while Jen Doyle drove in two runs on three hits. Kelly Jenner and Lynn Gregoire each supplied three hits.
Meanwhile, Carlos (Speedy) Thomas ripped up the DND bases as the Canadians bounced the Rosters Buzzards 22-7 in Vernon Senior Men’s Slo-Pitch League play.
In other Wednesday night action, the Lions outlasted Management/Checkers 22-19 with a six-run fourth inning. Tom Nolan went 5-for-6 at the plate, while Steve Shockey and Mark Duggan each supplied three hits and two runs for Checkers.
Checkers stopped the Canadians 25-13 Monday night with Wes Landels reaching base five times and scoring three runs.
The Lake Country Lakers ambushed the M&K Ready-Mixers 22-6 Wednesday, while Rosters brushed back the Lakers 26-21 Monday night.
