On the heels of one of their best efforts of the season, there was no letdown for the Kelowna Rockets.

Kole Lind and Tomas Soustal each had a goal and an assist to lead the Rockets to a convincing 4-1 victory Wednesday night over the hometown Tri-City Americans.

The Rockets, who defeated the CHL’s top team, the Regina Pats, on Saturday night, were in control from start to finish, outshooting the Ams 45-21.

Lind’s second-period goal was his team-leading 14th of the season.

Rookie Nolan Foote and Jordan Borstmayer, with the game winner, also scored foe the Rockets, now 15-11-0 on the season.

Michael Herringer made 20 saves in the Kelowna net.

The Rockets will be in Spokane Friday to take on the Chiefs.
