Vancouver Canucks prospect Jett Woo and the Moose Jaw Warriors come to Kelowna to face the Rockets in their only meeting this season Wednesday night.

Coming off back to back loses to Prince George, Rockets’ forward Leif Mattson said the Rockets need to focus on the smaller details in order to break the five game losing streak, and get their first win of the season.

“We just need to take it one shift at a time,” said Mattson. “We need to stick to our game plan and capitalize on our opportunities when we get them. We need to play a full 60 minutes and not take any shifts off in order to be successful.”

The Rockets will bank on their extra days of rest as the Warriors will be playing the second game of a back to back after a Tuesday night game against the Kamloops Blazers. The Rockets still hold the third spot in the B.C. division, but with five straight losses, the Rockets will need to bounce back soon, to maintain a grip on a playoff spot.

With the first of three games this week for the Rockets, their record of 17-21-3-1 will be tested as they also play the second best team in the league, Everett Silvertips, on Friday, and then the best team in the WHL, Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday.
