Rouault collects scholastic honour

The basketball guard from Fulton Secondary was named the men’s winner of the Dr. Roger H. Barnsley scholar athlete award at the Thompson Rivers University athletic awards banquet Thursday in Kamloops.

Rouault is a fourth-year guard for the WolfPackmen’s basketball team.

He carries a grade point average of 4.17 in the sciences program. On the hardwood, Roualt finished third in Canada West three-point shooting with 43.6 per cent.

Freshman cross-country runner Christa Miller of Vernon was a finalist for the women’s Barnsley award.

 

Alisha Miller, another cross country runner from Vernon, was a finalist for the Sports Task Force athlete of the year.
