The Ridge Meadows pee wee C6 Rustlers will be holding a shake-a-skate fundraiser on Jan. 21.
The players will be outside of Save-On Foods on 227th in the morning, and at The Outpost liquor store in the afternoon.
The team has decided that a portion of the money raised will be donated to a Maple Ridge resident, Logan Lay, who is battling a brain tumour.
