The team went 1-3-1 in the Scott Mullins Icebreaker tournament held on the weekend hosted by the Higher End Contracting Smokin’ Aces. Right, Dale Mullins of the Scottsdale Construction Spitters snags a hard grounder during action on Lions Field. Mullins hit the game-winning run in the A division final to defeat the Print Factory Phanatics. The VBS Diggers defeated the Smokin’ Aces in the B Division final.
