Seeds Food Market in Cumberland is in search of a team of two once again to represent them in this year’s Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race (MOMAR).

This sold-out race was recently voted the “Best Adventure Race in Western Canada” by Get Out There Magazine for a fourth year in a row.

The MOMAR is an incredible weekend experience that will test your mental and physical limits. You will navigate your way through a series of checkpoints on the 30km or 50km course – your choice. The race includes kayaking, mountain biking, trail running and orienteering.

In its seventh year in the race, team “Seeds of Fury” is all about fun and adventure. “Being the primary refreshment sponsor has been so much fun,” says store manager Patricia Leeson. “We love this race. Community-building is what Seeds is all about. We’d like people to write in and tell us why they should race for us.”

The race goes Sept. 26 in and around Cumberland. To enter the contest, write to patricia@seedsfoodmarket.ca before Aug.  24 and tell Seeds why you should race for them.

Seeds Natural Food Market is located at 2733A Dunsmuir Ave. in Cumberland, on the corner of 3rd and Dunsmuir. Contact www.seedfoodmarket.ca or www.facebook.com/seedsfoodmarket
