The Parksville Curling Club is holding its annual Senior Ladies 50+ Bonspiel on Remembrance Day weekend.
The competition will start Friday, Nov. 9 and will go on until Sunday, Nov. 11 which will be followed by a banquet. Organizer Christine Davis said that the bonspiel is always well attended and expects teams coming mostly from different clubs on Vancouver Island.
“There are 16 teams and there might be more,” said Davis. “It’s quite competitive. There’s going to be lots of fun times too.”
The event is also a cashspiel, said Davis. The winners of the three divisions will divy up the entrance fee.
