The Shuswap Midget Outlaws continued their league play this weekend with a home game against North Okanagan. After winning their opener last week against Revelstoke, the Outlaws looked to push their record to 2-0. They started out fast and jumped to a 4-0 lead. Strong defense and solid goaltending from Robert Letcher allowed the offense to get going. The end result was a 15-1 victory for the Outlaws. Coach John Beevor-Potts was pleased with the overall team effort, but was quick to point out that the competition will get tougher in upcoming weeks. Shuswap will be busy next weekend as they have three league games. The Outlaws play Penticton in a home game on Saturday. On Sunday, they hit the road with games against Kamloops and Merritt.
