On Monday, BC Rugby announced its men’s and women’s U23 teams heading to the Sevens tournaments in Las Vegas and Vancouver this March, and a number of local products are on the list.
Abbotsford’s Jordan Tait and Jared Douglas were named to the men’s 12-man roster, with Darwin Guevara added to the non-travelling reserve squad.
Mackenzie Fowler, Chelsea Fowler, Meghan Wellis, and Elyssa Phillipson were all named to the women’s team roster, with Morgan Walker picked for the non-travelling reserve team.
The Las Vegas event runs from March 4 to 6, with the Vancouver event occurring from March 12 to 13.
