The 2015 recipient of the $1,000 Salmar Award of Excellence is Alyssa Skaalid. She was nominated by the Salmon Arm Icebreakers. Skaalid was one of five skaters selected to represent B.C. at the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George this past February.
