Athletes from the Thompson Okanagan region claimed a total of 76 medals in the 2016 BC Summer Games, which wrapped up in Abbotsford on the weekend.
Leading the way for athletes from the Shuswap was swimmer Ethan Skofteby.
The Selkirks Swim Club member laid claim to three medals at the Centennial Pool.
Skofteby won two team medals, a gold in the 4 x 50-metre medley relay and a silver in the 4 x 50-m freestyle relay.
He also raced to an individual silver medal in the gruelling 800-m freestyle race.
Also returning with hardware was the rowing duo of Nicholas Lourens and Ethan Pyle. The pair raced to a bronze medal in the two-man 1,000-m time trial event.
They followed up their bronze with a silver medal in the two-man skills competition at the Fort Langley Canoe Club on the Fraser River.
At the Rotary Stadium, Jacob Taylor won the bronze medal in the boys discus and just missed the podium, finishing fourth in the javelin.
Also competing in the athletic competitions was Stephen Moore and Alton Neid.
The pair competed with two other athletes in the 4 x 400-m relay for the Thompson Okanagan and finished in fifth place.
In addition to the relay, Moore also ran in the 1,500-m steeplechase and 1,200-m races, finishing seventh and 17th respectively. Neid hopped, skipped and jumped into ninth place in the triple jump.
At Albert Dyck Memorial Park, triathlete Julia Brown swam, biked and ran to a respectable fifth place finish.
On the ball diamonds at McMillan Park, Cole Nisse and Logan Reynolds competed with the Thompson Okanagan team in the highly competitive baseball tournament finishing in eighth.
In the three-on-three basketball tournament, Leyton Boyd, Bradley Martin, Brendan Mayes, Cole Menzies and Jaxon Neid finished in sixth.
On the wrestling mats at WJ Mouat Secondary, Rohan Kafle and Elijah Lazar both narrowly missed the podium finishing fourth in their respective weight divisions.
