Soccer gets going for the season in Fort St. James

Soccer season is here, and it was an early-season high school boys soccer tournament in Fort St. James on September 16 to 17.

Soccer season is here, and it was an early-season high school boys soccer tournament in Fort St. James on September 16 to 17.

The Fort St. James Senior Secondary Team ended up third overall of the six teams after the two days of play.

An exciting 3-3 tie game on Friday against Fraser Lake ended in a shoot-out, which Fort St. James won.

 

 

Final standings for the tournament were:

First – Fort St. John

Second – Burns Lake

Third – Fort St. James

Fourth – Quesnel Junior

Fifth – Fraser Lake

 

Sixth – West Side Academy of Prince George
