The score was 4-0 for Clearwater Secondary School at the end of the game after the local girls soccer team took on Barriere at CSS on Tuesday afternoon.

The contest was the team’s only league game at home this season.

Clearwater’s goals were scored by Hanna Wadlegger, Keltie Arndt, Cassidy Redman and Haliya Arduini.

This was the third league game this season. The team earlier played Ashcroft and St. Ann’s, losing both games by scores of 2-0.

The girls also took part in an 11-team tournament in Hope, placing second overall.

“They played so well at the tournament it was incredible,” said Ian Eakins, one of their coaches. “They really outdid themselves.”

The team will host its home tournament on the weekend of May 4/5.
